The 6.5 was developed by Hornady as a high-power competition cartridge capable of making any shot the rifle range has to offer. In fact, it is the first production cartridge ever developed from the ground up to be a true match cartridge. Petzal, Rifles Editor of <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Field &#038; Stream<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. \u201cAnd in its century of existence, the Swede has killed everything, everywhere.\u201d He also goes on to state that the 6.5 Creedmoor will \u201cdo nicely for elk and moose\u201d with a 140-grain bullet.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The 6.5 Creedmoor\u2019s versatility derives from the fact that it can be used across multiple big-game animals. And it <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">is suitable for a kid or a seasoned hunter. It\u2019s great in the woods. It\u2019s fun on the range.
